- If you are attending via Zoom, during the mealtime go into the Breakout Room and you will still be able to converse with others on Zoom. When meal is over, come back to the main room.
- If you have a speaker who wants to present a Power Point or other screen, please have the material sent to Bill Sullivan 24 hours ahead of the meeting. He will then have the presentation ready to share

Flags Flew, Heroes Praised
The 450 flags are now safely stored at Bayshore Transportation for another year. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a very profitable year. $30,000 plus another $5,000 from Bloom Energy will be used to help veterans, military, first responders, and youth programs. Thank you, Clinton and BJ for your leadership.
Holiday work coming
It’s not the holidays without our ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive. John Hornor will have a signup sheet for hour-long shifts between 5 and 8 p.m. at Boscov’s on Dec. 2, 11, and 12. Get your Santa hat out! Only a few shifts are yet to be filled.
Volunteers are needed to help Wreaths Across America on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 8:30 a.m. At the Military cemetery off Rt. 896 in Bear. Ceremony will take place at 10:30 but much help is needed to do the actual work of laying the wreaths. See Lynn Mey if you can help.
The Boys and Girls Club at Rosemont will hold their holiday party for nearly 100 kids. Our club will contribute but individual donations are also gratefully accepted. Details will come following tomorrow’s Board meeting. We answered their emergency call last year with contribution of about $3,000.
Holiday Reception in Two Weeks
We will kick off the Holiday Season with our Annual Holiday Reception on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. No morning meeting that week. We are all encouraged to bring family and friends and potential members. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served, cash bar. Your “ticket” to the evening affair will be one NEW UNWRAPPED TOY for the Marines Toys For Tots. If you want to participate in the fun filled Pollyanna Gift Exchange, bring a wrapped gift (about $10 value) to be exchanged for another very special gift. This is loads of fun and laughs.
Additional to this year’s Holiday Reception will be a small but exciting Silent Auction with a few items that were not available at the October World’s Greatest Meal event. Any money from this auction will benefit Boys and Girls Club at Rosemont.
URGENT Sign up for Rotary Direct NOW
Beginning in the new Rotary year, all NMRC members are asked to make their Rotary Foundation contributions directly to TRF via Rotary Direct. Instructions will be provided. After June, contributions will no longer be invoiced by our treasurer. This will get your money to TRF faster, get your tax recognition faster, enable you to manage your contributions, and free up the responsibility from our treasurer. Specific instructions will becoming.
