Meals of Hope Food Packing Saturday
Those who signed up to help pack meals for the District Day of Service will meet at the VFW in North East either at 10 a.m. or noon. Please be there a few minutes early to get your assignment. Bring your facemask. The VFW is on Turkey Point Road. After driving through the main street of North East, you will see the VFW immediately on the right as you leave town.
Flags For Heroes
Jason Lawhorn is working on getting help with installing the 500 flag holders so we will not need to break our backs! But help will be needed on Oct. 29 and 30th to assemble the flags and put on the sponsor tags. Stay tuned…..

When introducing a speaker please be prepared to follow the following TIPS for a professional presentation:
T –Topic of today’s program. One simple sentence will do.
I – Importance. Why should everyone listen to the speaker?
P – Personal details. What are the credentials of the speaker related to today’s presentation?
S – Speaker’s name. This is the ONLY time you will say their name. Be sure you know how to pronounce correctly. Then welcome the speaker to the podium with an extended hand for handshake.
