January 9, 2025      The Magic of Rotary!

We’re trying to improve Zoom presentation!

  1. If you are attending via Zoom, during the mealtime go into the Breakout Room and you will still be able to converse with others on Zoom. When meal is over, come back to the main room.
  2. If you have a speaker who wants to present a Power Point or other screen, please have the material sent to PAUL KEELY 24 hours ahead of the meeting. He will then have the presentation ready to share

Reminder: check out our Facebook page for pictures!

Welcome newest member Lynn Robinson!
Happy New Year !
Can you believe President Lynn’s year is at mid point and President-Elect Jamie’s will be starting in just a few weeks? We accomplished so much in our first six months. Let’s make her last six months just as exciting and accomplished as the first six. With the holidays over and a new year ahead, let us all re-commit our efforts  to Service Above Self.
Thank You
In the past few weeks we have received many notes of thanks for our help and consideration for young and old. The birthday boxes continue to be well received and appreciated by the seniors getting Meals on Wheel. More than 150 birthday boxes were made by us and distributed in 2024. Teachers and principals from local schools have sent notes of appreciation for the nearly 600 dictionaries made available to thirds graders. In December we participated in Wreaths Across America, volunteered for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive, gave generously to our servers, raised another $2,000 for the Boys and Girls Rosehill Club, and donated 30 toys to Toys For Tots. Our last effort before adjourning for the holiday break was to sign Christmas cards for 50 Meals on Wheels recipients. December was a short but busy month for us all while we each personally celebrated Christmas or Hanukkah with friends and families. As our Evelyn would say, Peace, Love, and Joy!
