Job well done!
At the District 7630 Foundation dinner on Friday, Nov. 15, awards were given for the work our clubs did in the Rotary year 2018-19. We received recognition for Participation in Grant Activity, Exceeding our goal to the Annual Fund, Exceeding our goal for PolioPlus, 100% Foundation Giving by Club Members, and End Polio Now Certification of Appreciation. We also were one of seven out of 40 clubs in our district to receive the Rotary Citation, and one of four to receive Silver Level (that’s a BIG deal!). We were second highest club in giving to the Annual Fund at $323 per capita. Terrific Work, Everyone!
Can you read?
The Newark Children’s Day Nursery, located only a mile from the Courtyard on Barksdale Road, is in need of readers to the children. Easy — go to Read Aloud Delaware, signup as a reader, designate Newark Day Nursery as your preferred location. Then you can make arrangements that suit your schedule.
Outstanding invoice?
Do not let your quarterly invoice go unpaid. Either get a check to treasurer Shawn or go to www.NMRDE.org and pay via credit card.
If you want to have your contribution made directly to The Rotary Foundation by credit card (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually) and not have it included on your quarterly club invoice, go to www.rotarydirect.org to sign up. Easy…..
Thank you to recent volunteers with Highway Cleanup and Yard Cleanup with Lori’s Hands.
