Sept. 8, 2022    IMAGINE Rotary!

Reminder: check out our Facebook page for pictures!
Meetings are held Hybrid, with in-person at the Courtyard and option to participate via Zoom at this link:
Meeting ID: 846 6083 3031
Passcode: 124119
Monthly Meeting Format to Change
In response to many suggestions and comments during President Clinton’s meetings with members, the monthly schedule will be more flexible with fewer invited speakers. The first and third weeks will be Featured Speakers, the second week will be Fellowship, and the fourth week will be Club Assembly and Board of Director’s meeting. If there is a fifth week, we anticipate holding an Upside Down meeting where we MIGHT meet at 7 p.m. instead of 7 a.m. Stay tuned…..
Opportunities for Service
Service takes place in many forms. The following calendar of events will give you many opportunities to join other members for Service, Fellowship, and lots of Fun. Take advantage of them and get them on your calendar. Many of the events can include family members, friends, and potential members.
Welcome our newest Members!
Amanda McGinty, with the UD Resident Ensemble Players, will be a Service Member.
The Vero At Newark will be a Corporate Member. Attending on behalf of Vero will be Frank DeMarinis, BJ DiDonato, and Terri Doody.
The club extends to Linda Sayther, widow of our friend Paul,  the opportunity to join us at events and whenever she desires as an Honorary Member.
Missing Some Members?
Several of our members have requested a Leave of Absence. If you are their buddy, you still might want to keep in touch. The members currently on leave are: Kelly Bachman, Nancy Chase, Laura DelPercio, Marie Holliday, Jason Lawhorn, Michal Luck, Christina Macmillan, Leann Moore, and Anthony Santoro.
Two Interact Clubs
We will be continuing our relationship with the Global Studies program at Newark Charter High School under Jocelyn Cane as one Interact group. The Board just approved our second Interact group will be with the Global Studies program at Aspira High School under Lisa Westerfield. Let’s get more involved with them as engaged youth make future Rotarians!
Have you called your BUDDY this week?
