Dictionary Help

It’s that time when school starts that we distribute FREE student dictionaries to third graders in local schools. Laura DelPercio is heading up the project but we need more volunteers to distribute.

Flags For Heroes underway

Sponsorships, both business and individual,  for our FFH program are n ow available. You can access the info, reserve a flag, and pay at our website nmrde.org. The goal this year is $25,000, only $5,000 more than last year.

Highway Cleanup Rescheduled to Oct. 7
Barry Baker is looking for a few good men and women to do highway cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 7, starting at 8 a.m. Meet in the parking lot of the church on corner of Otts Chapel Rd. and Old Baltimore Pike. Pickup lasts only one hour. Then volunteers are invited to breakfast at the Bistro in Courtyard at 9:15.
Tax-free distribution to The Rotary Foundation
If you are age 70 1/2  or older, for the first time IRA owners can make a tax-free distribution (between $10,000 and $50,000) direct from an IRA to a charitable gift annuity with Rotary. For more infomation, email Josh.Olewiler@rotary.org.
Creating hope For Maui
Our Board of Directors approved $500 to go to the Rotary District 5000 for Maui Fires relief fund. If you want to make a persosnal donation, go to rotaryd5000.org.
100% High Engagement
Every member has the chance to get 100% attendance recognition this year. Every time you attend a committee meeting, work on a service project, attend a Board meeting, or attend another club’s meeting, please let Secretary BJ know and she will give you credit. Now if family members and guests work on any club endorsed project or event with you, YOU will receive an extra point for High Engagement!
Easterseals 75th Celebration
Join us at the Easterseals dinner on Oct. 19 at the Chase Center in Wilmington to celebrate their 75th anniversary. Rotary and Easterseals have a long connection and District 7630 has been a huge supporteer of our local chapter.
