Flags For Heroes underway

Sponsorships, both business and individual,  for our FFH program are now available. You can access the info, reserve a flag, and pay at our website nmrde.org. The goal this year is $25,000 and we are very close. If you are not a sponsor, please focus the next week on selling individual flag sponsorships.

Tax-free distribution to The Rotary Foundation
If you are age 70 1/2  or older, for the first time IRA owners can make a tax-free distribution (between $10,000 and $50,000) direct from an IRA to a charitable gift annuity with Rotary. For more infomation, email Josh.Olewiler@rotary.org.
Grant Under Way
Our grant prject to make and distribute hygience kits to schoolgirls in Nigeria is well under way. The first distribution was made last week. Thank you Doris for spearheading this project.
100% High Engagement
Every member has the chance to get 100% attendance recognition this year. Every time you attend a committee meeting, work on a service project, attend a Board meeting, or attend another club’s meeting, please let Secretary BJ know and she will give you credit. Now if family members and guests work on any club endorsed project or event with you, YOU will receive an extra point for High Engagement!
World’s Greaterst Meal
The one thing that makes the World’s Greatest Meal GREAT is your participation. If you are donating an item, please let Dave Bonk know. And we should all be bidding! Remember, this is to support the Rotary Foundation’s PolioPlus program. More info to come.
