Have you called your BUDDY this week? Even those on Leave of Absence could use a call to stay in touch.
Flags For Heroes 2022 –
They’re up and flying! Nearly 400 flags were installed last Saturday, about 300 on the lower level and 100 on the upper level of the Reservoir. Many thanks to those who helped find holes, empty water-filled holes, assembled flags, and insert flags into the holes. It was quite a job but the result is worth it.  Banners, medallions, and sponsor signs will go up in the next few days.
Does anyone have access to about 30 folding chairs for the Nov. 13 ceremony?
Schedule:
Sunday, Nov. 13, Ceremony at 11 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 19, Take down flags
World’s Greatest Meal – Our PolioPlus Fundraiser raises more than $1800!
Never say our members are  not competitive! Especially when it comes to bidding on silent auction items. Combined bidding proceeds, fines, happy dollars, and additional donations brought in about $1800 last week, all going towards polio eradication. Each member who made a contribution will receive credit in their name to The Rotary Foundation.
If you were not at last week’s meeting and would like to make a contribution to Polio Plus, please see Robin.
Helping our Neighbors
Last week former Rotarians Stu Sherman and Dave Bonk asked if we were able to help sponsor the holiday gift giving and party for 150 kids at the Roseville Boys and Girls Club in New Castle. President Clinton will make $1000 of his budgeted funds available toward this project. If you personally or your business would like to sponsor any children or help with holiday shopping, let Robin know.
