Weekly Bulletin Nov. 3, 2020

November 3, 2020 Rotary Opens Opportunities!
All club meetings will be conducted via Zoom until further notice. Please contact Robin at rbroomall@usa.net if you did not receive the Zoom link for this week’s meeting. Please do not share our Zoom meeting link with anyone unless you want them specifically invited to the meeting.

New Zoom practice going into play – in order to keep better control of those who want to give Happy Dollars, and keep us from talking over each other, “Raise Hand” will be put into use. Click on “participants” at bottom middle of your screen, click on “more” and your will see “Raise hand”. Click on this when you want to be recognized. Then click on “Lower hand” when done. The host will call on you to speak. Otherwise, please mute yourself while others speak.

Happy/Crappy Dollars? We are still accepting them weekly, but you need to keep track of them and pay up when we meet again in person. Remember the Four Way Test???

Silent Auction Ends

Our Silent Auction brought in $815 which, along with all Happy Dollars, 50/50, fines, and additional contributions, will go directly to the Polio Plus program with the Rotary Foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated items, bid on them, and supported the program. A special thank you to Mike Luck for arranging and managing the silent auction.

If you have not done so already, please return the World’s Greatest Meal form to Robin ASAP so we can tally the final contributions for the day. Even if you did not bid on an auction item, please consider making an additional contribution.

Last Chance to sponsor a flag for your hero or encourage your family, friends and neighbors to do the same. All info is on nmrde.org under Flags For Heroes, 2020. The Sunday ceremony has been cancelled.

Jason will be needing help Friday to set up the flags in front of City Administration Building. Email him with your offer to help.
