If you haven’t noticed, we’ve gotten lots of press lately, thanks to our Public Image Chair Bill Sullivan. Each week there is an article in the Rotary Reminders which is distributed to all members in our district. Also, we have had several articles in the Newark Post. The press release about our district grant of $10,000 to help schoolgirls in Nigeria with hygiene kits will be in the Newark Post, UDaily, and distributed to Washington Mandella Fellows publications.
Flags Money Distributed
PP Clinton and PE Lynn presented $26,500 profits from the 2023 Flags For Heroes. Recipients there to receive checks included Newark PAL, Healing Waters, Beds4Vets, Delaware Military Academy, Delaware Military museum, Wreaths Across America. Additionally, $4,000 was reserved to construct a Chair of Honor memorial in Newark. COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE NEEDED! Please see Lynn Mey.
