https://95896improvements.com/ As suggested by Bill Sullivan, avoid I95 at 273 and 896. Construction has begun and is a nightmare. Even 72 south of Newark is one lane under the I95 overpass. Find the backroads to travel.
New Leadership Insures Continuation of Club Values and Mission
At the annual dinner we inducted the following as NMRC officers for 2023-2024:
President: Stewart Lee
President Elect: Lynn Mey
Vice President: Jamie Zingaro
Treasurer: Marie Holliday
Secretary: BJ DiDonato
Sgt At Arms: Laurie Williams
Another successful year depends on all of us working together.
What a Year!
It took a few weeks to get our feet back on the ground, but the past year, under Clinton’s leadership, was a banner year for Service. All told, we completed 41 projects, volunteered about 1.6 thousand hours, gave about $75,000 in cash contributions of all kinds, and donated about $9,000 in donated services and goods. We should be proud of our accomplishments.
IMPACT Club
We’re ready to charter! We have our initial 8 required members but could always use more. Do you know someone who is service minded but can’t attend our regular Rotary meetings? Give their name and contact info to Paul Keely for an invitation to join.
Board Meeting Change / Board Meeting this week
To accommodate President Stewart’s schedule, the club’s monthly Board meetings will be held the THIRD Thursday of each month unless otherwise announced. The first Board meeting of this year will beTHIS week, July 20, immediately following the regular meeting. ALL members are invited to attend and get an attendance makeup credit for any missed meeting.
100% Attendance
Only four members received acknowledgment for getting 100% attendance last Rotary year. Every member has the chance to get that recognition this year. Every time you attend a committee meeting, work on a service project, attend a Board meeting, or attend another club’s meeting, pleased let Secretary BJ know and she will give you credit. Let’s make this a 100% attendance year for the whole club!
