Happy New Year!!!
What other organization do you know of that has a complete change in its top leadership every year on the same day – and does not skip a beat in its humanitarian work around the globe? This year’s Rotary International President-elect Shekhar Mehta encourages members to be changemakers and announced that his theme for the 2021-2022 Rotary year is Serve to Change Lives. See his story in the July issue of Rotarian magazine.
Your 2021-2022 Leadership Team:
President Joyce Henderson; President Elect Polly Sierer; Vice President Anthony Santoro; Secretary Michael Luck; Treasurer Shawn Klapinsky; Sgt. At Arms Stewart Lee; Directors Paul Keely (Membership), Tom Minto (Service Projects), Mike Reckner (Fundraising), Marie Holliday (Foundation), Robin Broomall (Administration); Immediate Past President Dennis Greenhouse.
Monthly Program chairs needed for 2021-2022. Please respond to Anthony Santoro if you would like to chair one month of programs from August 2021 thru July 2022 (March 2022 is already taken). Contact Anthony at anthony@diamondstatephotography.com. He will have the monthly schedule and outline of duties.
Direct to The Rotary Foundation?
How can you make a one-time, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual contributions to The Foundation and use your credit card? Use Rotary Direct for an easy way to make contributions. Log in to rotary.org, then click on My Rotary. Log in with your user and password. It will bring up your profile. At the top right you will see your name. Click on the arrow to the right of your name and it will bring up your contribution history. Tab at bottom left will bring up every donation made in your name. And you can sign up for direct contributions as well. First time users will use your membership number to log in. See Robin if you need help.
Upcoming Projects need Leaders:
Take the opportunity to sign up to chair or co-chair an activity or event for our club for the next Rotary year. Tom Minto is looking for EVERYONE to participate in leadership roles. Being a chair does not mean you do all the work. You are just expected to coordinate the activity, solicit volunteers, oversee the activity, and report back to Tom.

We all get heavier as we get older because there is a lot more information in our heads. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
