Happy New Year!!!

What other organization do you know of that has a complete change in its top leadership every year on the same day – and does not skip a beat in its humanitarian work around the globe? This year’s Rotary International President-elect Shekhar Mehta encourages members to be changemakers and announced that his theme for the 2021-2022 Rotary year is Serve to Change Lives. See his story in the July issue of Rotarian magazine.

Congratulations, Madame President!

We welcome Joyce Henderson as out newest president of NMRC!

Thank you, Donna, for your 23 years of faithful service.

Now that Donna Friswell and Les Becca are “happy homeowners” in Melbourne, Florida, Donna has submitted her letter of resignation from our club and will be joining the Cocoa Rotary Club as of July 1. She was a charter member, stepping up to assume presidency only six months into our club’s formation. She was an assistant governor, spent years on the district’s grant committee, headed work weekends at Camp Fairlee, and worked on many of our service projects over the years.  Anyone venturing to Cocoa or Orlando area is encouraged to get in touch with Donna and get a private tour of the area with our favorite “travel agent.”
