Shopping for Needy Children

Eleven large bags of clothes and gifts were delivered to McVey School on Monday, Dec. 20 for those children identified as needy. In addition, gift cards at $50 each were given to the six families represented by the children. Thank you to everyone who shopped very quickly for the items. If you want reimbursement, get your receipts to Shawn.

Supporting Students after Foster Care

Once children age out of foster care, they are pretty much on their own. Through a request by Leann Moore, we were able to support two young adults. One had requested a bike and helmet ($200) and another needed a backpack and headphones ($140). They were delivered just in time for Christmas.

Next Board Meeting Jan. 13 – 8:15, following regular meeting. Minutes and Financials to be sent out to Board members on previous Wednesday. Everyone is welcome to attend the Board meetings. You will get makeup credit for attendance. If you want to know what’s going on, be there.
