Welcome !
We are so fortunate to have Stella Patino and Dr. Nelson Atehortua joining our forces. They are both Rotarians relocating from Mississippi. After searching around for a new home club, they found us. Welcome!
Zach Harris is also joining us! He has been actively engaged by creating an app that will help our many small food pantry volunteers talk to each other and share resources as well as food. Welcome, Zach!

A huge thank you to our 15 members who participated in one way or another to the District 7630 Conference this past weekend. I heard  nothing but positive comments from attendees. Fred, Paul, Shawn, Laurie, Elaine, Ann, Cheryl acted as sergeant at arms; Bob was driver and escort for keynote speaker as well as a breakout presenter; Dan and Clinton were extra helpers; Ed was the AV man; Jamie was the s/s applicant escort; Mark sang in the Memorial Service;  Jim B just did what I told him to do! Items for the giveaway bags were donated by Paul, Laurie, Ed, Fred, Cindi and Marie. The back issues of Rotarian magazine went in the 48 Birthday Boxes packed that morning. DG Dale Kerns is most appreciative for our help in acting as the “home club” since it took place in our area. It was a long 18 months for the Conference Committee from searching for the venue to embarking the bus for the Blue Rocks game. Kudos to EVERYONE for your help and support.
Adopt A Park Cleanup Scheduled
To get more members engaged and be mindful of their schedules, Dan Seador has a monthly signup for trash pickup at the Resevoir, Preston’s Playground, and the new Old Paper Mill Road Park. Each month will have a co-chair who will schedule a team to do the trash pickup, report back to Dan, and take pictures. The signup will be attached in an email to all members. Please reply to Dan.

Nominations Now Being Accepted
Our club has always been successful in having a long line of succession of leadership. Some clubs do not have a president elect until right before the new Rotary year begins in July. The Nomination committee (Robin, Shawn, and Don) are now accepting nominations for 2nd. vice president in 2026-27 (becoming club president in July 2029). If you want to be considered, please see Robin for more info.
