Get Educated about Rotary

The Rotary Leadership Institute is a wonderful way to learn more about the organization you joined. The full day session will be held Saturday, March 30, at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover. Register at www.rli33.org and pay the $95 registration fee, then give your receipt to Shawn for reimbursement. Breakfast and lunch are included. Our club recognizes the value in attending RLI and has made the commitment to send any members who want to attend. Parts 1, 2 and 3 are available.

Food packing event a Blast!!!

Schedule your March 30 Satturday morning for fum, fellowship, and helping others less fortunate. A Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event will be held in our rooms at the Courtyard. In a very specific assembly line, we will pack 10,500 meals to be sent to areas of the world that are in need, in schools, orphanages, and communities where food is not easy to obtain.  We need 50 volunteers (Rotarirans, family members, high school students, college students, and community members) to help. About 10 are needed at 8:30 to help unload the truck, 50 are needed to sign in at 9:30 to help with the packaging, about 10 are needed to help cleanup and reload the truck. We should be all done and out by noon. Please sign up with Robin for a great memorable event!

District Conference A “Must Attend”

If you have never attended a Rotary 7630 District Conference, this year’s event is a chance for you to meet other Rotarians in our district, hear about the fabulous projects happening, and participate in a service project – all at a location convenient for us in the northern part of our district. The Chase Center in Wilmington is about as good as it can get. See the weekly Rotary Reminders for full details. It begins with dinner Friday evening, all day programs and service activity on Saturday, dinner and entertainment Saturday night, and a memorial service Sunday morning. You can register for the full package or pick and choose when you want to attend. Stay tuned for more exciting offers!!!
