Program for June 11
Sponsored by the Center for Disabilities Studies at the University of Delaware, Community Connectors helps adults with disabilities become involved in their community. Through the program, participants build skills, network, and socialize. Interested individuals can become involved in two programs: the Individual Program and the Group Program. Contact a staff member to find out which programs are right for you! Adults with disabilities (age 18 and older) who live, or plan to live, independently are eligible to apply. We were proud to present $1,000 to Debbie Bain for their program.

Annual dinner – June 25

The evening of June 25 will be one of remembering the past year and looking forward to the next. We always accomplish a lot but don’t take time to celebrate our successes. Now we can… Awards will be presented for community service, public service, our club service, and one member’s service to the community. Then we will induct the newest leaders of our fine organization who will take us into the next Rotary year. Spouses and guests are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Thought for the Week:

People seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older. They must be cramming for their finals. Does God grade on a curve?

Can’t make our meeting?

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.

All Rotarians are welcomed to attend another club’s meeting. Be prepared to pay for your meal and bring the makeup slip back to our secretary for attendance and invoice credit.
