Program for April 16
Our speakers today were Jennifer French and Laura DelPercio doing classification talks. Jennifer has had a colorful background, including the words "juggling, circus clowns, McDonalds, and Spain." You can fill in the blanks.....But the pride of her life is her 8 year-old son who convinced her it was the right time to leave Spain and return to America. Her job with Aspira Academy will end in July, so she is now job hunting

Laura is also an accomplished pastry chef besides running the Newark Country Club. She grew up with her parents who managed the Sharp Estate in Wilmington. A Catholic-educated girl (that explains her "issues"!), Laura has been a chef, business owner, travel agent, and club manager.

And remember Gene Danneman in her continuing progress following surgery. Cards can be sent to 2 Pine Hill Road, Newark 19711.

And Donna Friswell will be back in May!

Archaeology Festival needs you…

You don’t need to know the difference between jasper and flint. You just need to be a warm body eager to assist at the Iron Hill Archaeology and Heritage Festival, Sunday, May 3. Our club and several members have been huge supporters of the Iron Hill Museum and its programs over the years. Let Robin know what hours or jobs you can volunteer with.

Mystery Dinner is no mystery to attendees

Thought for the Week:

Title of a fitness movie for the older folks: Pumping Rust!

Can’t make our meeting?

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.

All Rotarians are welcomed to attend another club’s meeting. Be prepared to pay for your meal and bring the makeup slip back to our secretary for attendance and invoice credit.
