Fred is Executive Vice President of Bassett, Dawson, & Foy, Inc. a comprehensive wealth management firm located in Wilmington, a Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter.

For recreation, Fred plays Hammond B-3 Organ in the multi-award winning classic "rock and roll event "band, Club Phred which has helped raise in excess of $2.5 million for local and national charities since 2004.

He also serves on many non-profit boards including The Grand Opera House in Wilmington and The Delaware Community Foundation. Fred and wife Louise reside in Yorklyn. They have two sons and two grandchildren.
